As the season winds down, the Yale Bulldogs have eyes on the ECAC playoffs and the Ivy League Standings. This Thursday and Saturday, two big games against the Brown Bears present a double edged sword of chances.

Yale sits ninth in the ECAC, just two points behind RPI for the final playoff spot. Brown, last in the conference with two points and only two total wins, have struggled to start the season.

Yale is coming off a strong start to the 2018 calendar year. The Bulldogs had a 93:53 shutout streak before it was snapped in the first period against Princeton last Friday. In that streak, Tera Hofmann and Gianna Meloni each recorded a shutout against Quinnipiac, with Meloni's 40 save performance her first career win and shutout.

Jordan Chancellor scored both goals for Yale last week in their 2-0 win over Quinnipiac, with each one coming on the power play.

Thursday's game is at Ingalls Rink at 7 p.m. while Saturday's matinee at 1 p.m. is at Brown.
