Game Notes: Rensselaer Concludes Homestand This Weekend

BACK TO CONFERENCE PLAY
Rensselaer closes out the first semester with a pair of ECAC Hockey games at the Houston Field House against Princeton and No. 5 Quinnipiac ... Puck drop against the Tigers on Friday is 6pm, while Saturday's contest against the Bobcats will start at 3pm.

ENGINEERS SPLIT WITH RIT
The Engineers scored five power play goals in a 5-1 win over the Tigers on Friday, before RIT bounced back for a 3-1 win on Saturday afternoon. Five players had multiple points for RPI in the victory, while Lovisa Selander had 27 saves.

ON THE DRAW
Junior Shayna Tomlinson has won 63.8% of her face-offs, which is good for sixth in the country and fourth-best in ECAC Hockey.

SHOT BLOCKING LEADERS
Junior Amanda Kimmerle has a team-leading 46 blocked shots, while classmate Whitney Renn is second with 31. Sophomore Josefine Hansen rounds out the top three with 27. Kimmerle ranks fourth nationally.

NEXT UP FOR RPI
The Engineers welcome fifth-ranked Quinnipiac to the Houston Field House on Saturday (3pm).
