Emerance Maschmeyer Named ADT Goalie of the Week in CWHL

The following article appeared at www.thecwhl.com on December 21, 2017 featuring Harvard University alum Emerance Maschmeyer, who has been named this weeks Goalie of the Week as a member of Les Canadiennes Montreal of the CWHL.

With 124 combined votes through CWHL polls via Twitter and thecwhl.com, Les Canadiennes goaltender Emerance Maschmeyer has been named the ADT Goalie of the Week for the week ending Sunday, December 17.

This marks the second time over the past three weeks that Maschmeyer has received the fan-voted honour.

The Bruderheim, Alta., native picked up a pair of wins for Les Canadiennes in a home doubleheader versus the tough Marham Thunder this past weekend. Both games required overtime with the former Harvard Crimson posting 21 and 22 saves in each contest, respectively. Maschmeyer was most impressive in picking up three critical shootout saves in Montréal’s 2-1 Sunday afternoon win over the Thunder, the fifth consecutive overtime affair between the two in a growing rivalry.
