August 16, 2018– The Metropolitan Riveters continue to bring the band back together in defense of the Isobel Cup. Earlier today, Team NWHL defender and respected leader Kiira Dosdall signed a contract to play her fourth season for the Riveters.
NEWARK, N.J. – Colgate women's hockey alumnae Kiira Dosdall '09 and Kimberly Sass '12 claimed the 2018 Isobel Cup Sunday for the Metropolitan Riveters. They downed the defending-champion Buffalo Beauts, 1-0, at Barnabas Health Hockey House to earn their first National Women's Hockey League (NWHL) title.
NEW YORK, NY. – The New York Riveters of the National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL) added Kiira Dosdall (Vienna Sabres) and Morgan Fritz-Ward (Quinnipiac) to their roster, general manager Dani Rylan announced on Tuesday.
Kiira Dosdall, a Connecticut native, played her college hockey at Colgate University where she remains the second-highest scoring Raiders defenseman of all time. In her senior season at Colgate in 2008-09 Dosdall was nominated for the Patty Kazmaier Award which is awarded to the top player in NCAA Division I women's ice hockey.
ALBANY, N.Y. -- ECAC Hockey was well represented in the 2013 Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL) Draft, held Monday, August 26 in Mississauga, Ontario as 15 former student-athletes were chosen. The CWHL Draft took place via conference call with general managers from the Alberta Hockey Club, Brampton Thunder, Boston Blades, Montreal Stars and Toronto Furies set to select players from a list of 67 prospective players. It marked the fourth annual entry draft for the Canadian Women’s Hockey League.
While most CWHL fans identify former Colgate standout Mallory Johnston as a long-time member of the former Burlington Barracudas, she is also a proficient talent in ball hockey, a popular off-season activity for many women’s ice hockey players.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Maura Crowell has been named interim head coach of the Harvard women's ice hockey team. Crowell will handle the women's ice hockey program as Katey Stone serves as head coach of the USA Women's Olympic Team at the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochia, Russia.

HAMILTON, N.Y. - Colgate womens hockey alumnae, Samantha Hunt and Kiira Dosdall are making a name for themselves in the Elite Womens Hockey League (EWHL). The two former Raiders graduated together in 2009 and continue to play together, this time for the EHV Sabres in Vienna, Austria.
