Senior netminder Abbie Ives led the Bobcats to their 8th Nutmeg Classic Championship after two wins in the tournament. Ives made a career-high 42 saves in Quinnipiac's 4-2 win over No. 10 Minnesota Duluth on Friday, which was the first win for the Bobcats against a ranked opponent since Nov. 2017. Ives then made 34 saves in a 3-1 win against Yale in the Nutmeg Classic Championship game. She stopped 76 of the 79 shots taken. The Bedford Hills native received the tournament's Most Outstanding Player award and the Laurie Belliveau Goaltender Award.
