ALBANY, N.Y. - ECAC Hockey has released its women’s weekly awards for the week ending January 27, 2019, and players from Clarkson, Dartmouth, and RPI have been honored.

Clarkson’s Loren Gabel earns player of the week after another record-setting weekend in which the senior scored her 100th career goal with a par of tallies against Harvard on Friday night. She ended the weekend with seven points (3G, 4A), including game-winning goals in both games to help extend the Golden Knights’ winning streak to six straight games.

Sara McClanahan (Dartmouth) put together the first multi-point performance of her career on Friday night, scoring a pair of goals against St. Lawrence, including one on the power play. She followed it up with an assist the following night against Clarkson, finishing the weekend with three points.

Lovisa Selander (RPI) had an unbelievable week in net for RPI, stopping 89 of the 90 shots she faced to help the Engineers to a 1-0-1 mark. She made 48 saves on Friday night in a 1-1 tie against Yale, before turning in a 41-save shutout in a 1-0 win on Saturday, which was the 10th shutout of her career.
