ALBANY, N.Y. - ECAC Hockey has announced its women’s monthly awards for February, and players from Colgate, Princeton, and Clarkson have all been honored.
Jessie Eldridge (Colgate) earns her second Player of the Month honor this season after posting over two point per-game during February. The senior registered 17 points (7G, 10A) in eight games, helping the Raiders to a 7-0-1 mark in that time span. Her month included six multi-point games, including a four point (2G, 2A) outing late in the month at Union.
Maggie Connors (Princeton) was a goal-scoring machine during the month of February, leading the league with 10 goals while also dishing out three assists. Her best game of the month came against Brown on February 8, when she became the first Tiger player in over 12 years to post five points in a game, scoring four goals and adding an assist. She had five multi-point outings during the month, four of which came in Princeton wins, earning her Rookie of the Month.
Kassidy Sauvé (Clarkson) went 5-2-1 in her eight starts last month, helping Clarkson finish the regular-season in a tie for second in the league standings. The senior made 224 saves, allowing just 15 goals for a .937 save percentage and 1.82 goals-against average. On February 8, she made 29 saves without allowing a goal against nationally-ranked Cornell, helping the Golden Knights earn a series split with the Big Red.
