CANTON, NY -- No. 6 ranked Princeton will be the No. 4 seed in the ECAC Tournament after finishing the season in a three-way tie for second with Clarkson and Colgate. A 2-0 loss to St. Lawrence today in the regular-season finale sets up a rematch with the Saints next weekend in the quarterfinals.

Princeton (18-6-5, 15-4-3) hosts St. Lawrence (14-13-7, 9-7-6) on Friday, March 1 at 6 p.m., Saturday, March 2 at 3 p.m., and Sunday, March 3 at 3 p.m., in the best-of-three series.

After two scoreless periods of hockey, the Saints got on the board with a power-play goal at 5:36 of the third. Nadine Edney was able to score after a goal mouth scramble with Kayla Vespa and Steph Keryluk assisting.

Princeton pulled starting netminder Stephanie Neatby for the extra attacker with one minute left on the clock but a turnover gave the Saints the puck and a chance at the empty goal and Maggie McLaughlin put it away.

Neatby finished the game with 19 saves. Grace Harrison got the start but played just 6:26 and did not make a save before being replaced by Sonjia Shelly, who made 18 saves.
