Canton, N.Y. -- Claire Dalton gave the Bulldogs their lone goal in Saturday's matchup against St. Lawrence (11-11-2, 6-5-1). She was assisted by the first-year pair of Emma Seitz and Charlotte Welch.
Down 3-0, at the start of the second, Dalton wristed home a shot from just outside the crease to put Yale in the score column 38 seconds into the middle period, her fifth of the season. Welch collected her team-leading 11th assist on the play.
The Bulldogs offense has flown through Seitz as of late; she recorded her sixth assist in her last five games on Saturday. The first-year defenseman has seven assists this season.
Senior goaltender Kyra O'Brien entered the game 10 minutes into the first period. She stood strong between the posts, making 26 saves in 50 minutes on the ice.
The Bulldogs return to the Whale next weekend to take on Rensselaer and Union. Both games are available on ESPN+.
