BEMIDJI, Minn. - The Union College women's hockey team came up short against Bemidji State, 3-0, Friday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a scoreless opening period, the Beavers gained a 1-0 edge midway through the second and held that lead heading into the final 20 minutes of play.
- With Union on the power play, Bemidji State doubled their advantage with a short-handed goal at 8:53 in the final period. The hosts' lead grew to three after a tally with 1:30 remaining in the game.
- Junior goaltender Amelia Murray recorded 25 saves in net for the Dutchwomen.
Union returns to the ice tomorrow, Jan 5., facing Bemidji State with the puck set to drop at 4 p.m. (ET).
