Lund Nets 100th Point, Bullock Scores Twice, Neatby with the Shutout

Princeton, N.J. (1/13/18) – Sophomore Carly Bullock scored twice, junior Karlie Lund net her 100th career point and sophomore Steph Neatby had the shutout as Princeton skated to a 3-0 win over Yale on Saturday night.

Bullock finished the weekend with four goals, while Neatby made 46 saves in the double blanking, after taking down Brown 4-0 last night.

Bullock opened the scoring with a wrist shot to the top left corner at 10:53 of the first after MacKenzie Ebel was able to intercept a Yale pass in the Princeton zone. Bullock quickly followed up with a second wrist shot from the slot for a goal at 13:04 with Lund picking up her first of two points on the night.

Lund's 100th point came as the secondary assist on Ebel's goal at 6:58 of the third. She fed Claire Thompson at the left point and Ebel redirected the shot out front.

Neatby finished the game with 21 saves. Yale's Tera Hofmann made 12 saves and allowed both goals in the first before she was replaced by Gianna Meloi for the final two periods.

The Tigers were 0 for 5 on the power play and kept the third-ranked penalty kill without a goal on four chances.

 With the win, the Tigers move to 8-10-4 overall and 7-8-1 in the ECAC. Princeton's next game be on the road at Penn State on Jan. 30 at 5 p.m.
