Rondeau to Tend Goal with Adirondack

Yale goaltender Ryan Rondeau has agreed to an amateur tryout agreement (ATO) with the Adirondack Phantoms of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Rondeau, who joins Bulldogs teammate Mike Matczak as a member of the Phantoms, just completed his senior season at Yale where he appeared in 34 games. He led Yale into the NCAA Championship for the third consecutive season. The Bulldogs were eliminated in the East Regional final.

Rondeau posted a 27-6-1 record, .928 save percentage, 1.92 goals-against average and six shutouts in 2010-11. He concluded his career with 48 appearances resulting in a 33-10-2 mark, .913 save percentage and 2.37 goals-against average.
