The following article appeared at chowderandchampions.com on January 17, 2018 featuring Cornell University alum Riley Nash, who has put together an impressive season as a member of the Boston Bruins.
By Sam Minton
Riley Nash has never been known as a flashy player. He doesn’t have the insane scoring ability of a guy like Brad Marchand, and David Pastrnak. This season though he has been an important player for the Boston Bruins.
Nash has a similar style to Bruins forward Patrice Bergeron. He is a two-way forward who is able to do all the little things.
Nash doesn’t put up big scoring numbers and isn’t making a “highlight reel” player. Last season with the Bruins he only had 7 goals and 10 assists. He has already eclipsed that point total this season in half the games.
