SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Union College men's hockey team suffered a 5-1 loss at the hands of No. 8/9 Clarkson on Friday night at Messa Rink.
With the loss the Dutchmen drop to 2-9-0 on the season and 1-2-0 in ECAC Hockey competition. The Golden Knights improve to 6-2-1 and 1-0-0 in league play.
- First-year defenseman Dylan Anhorn scored his first collegiate goal, tying the game at 1-1 midway through the first period.
- All five of Clarkson's goals came within the opening three minutes or closing three minutes of the period.
- Neither team capitalized on the power play, as both went 0-for-2 on the man advantage.
- Darion Hanson made a total of 27 saves in net for the Dutchmen, while Frank Marotte made 19 on the other end of the ice for the Golden Knights.
