ALBANY, N.Y. - The ECAC Hockey men’s weekly awards for the week ending February 17, 2019 have been released, and players from Yale and Dartmouth have been honored.
Yale’s Robbie DeMontis takes Player of the Week honors after a four-point weekend that included a goal and three assists. The junior helped the Bulldogs to a pair of wins over Colgate and Cornell, coming up big against the No. 8-ranked Big Red with three assists in a 5-2 victory.
Curtis Hall (Yale) was also instrumental in the Bulldogs sweep, registering three points (2G, 1A) on the weekend. He dished out one assist against Colgate on Friday night before finding his scoring touch on Saturday with a pair of goals against Cornell. The freshman finished the weekend with a +3 on-ice rating and seven shots on goal.
Dartmouth’s Adrian Clark led the league in both goals-against average (0.96), and save percentage (.963) this weekend among goalies who started two games. His best performance came on Friday night when he posted a 29-save shutout against No. 10/11 Clarkson, marking the first time in 15 years a Dartmouth goalie has posted a shutout at Clarkson.
