ALBANY, N.Y. - After earning its third consecutive weekend sweep, Quinnipiac headlines this week’s ECAC Hockey honor roll with two players selected. Dartmouth has also been recognized, with Adrian Clark being named Goalie of the Week.
Chase Priskie is the second straight Bobcat to earn Player of the Week after teammate Odeen Tufto earned the league honor a week ago. Priskie led the team and the league with three goals scored, helping Quinnipiac to a sweep of No. 19 Princeton in the home-and-home series. He scored the eventual game-winning goals in both games, and also led the defensive charge on Friday night, spearheading a defensive unit that held the Tigers scoreless for the first time this season.
Michael Lombardi extended his point streak to four consecutive games this weekend, scoring a goal and adding an assist to help Quinnipiac to its fifth and sixth straight wins. The Barrington, R.I. native dished out an assist in Friday’s 3-0 win before tallying one of the Bobcats six goals on Saturday.
Clark helped the Big Green pick up three key league points this weekend, going 1-0-1 including a big win over No. 16 Cornell. He faced 61 shots in his two starts, allowing just four goals for a .934 save percentage. The Big Green are now in a tie for second in the league standings with Yale.
