ALBANY, N.Y. - ECAC Hockey announced on Thursday the 2018-19 Player of the Year, and Adam Fox (Harvard University) has been honored with this prestigious award.
Fox led all ECAC Hockey players in scoring during league play, posting 33 points on four goals and 29 assists. The junior recorded a +18 on-ice rating against league opponents, which also topped all skaters.
He was also the top point-scorer in the nation this season, averaging 1.48 points per-game through Harvard’s 29 regular-season and two post-season contests. He was the anchor of a Harvard defense that allowed less than 2.5 goals per-game, helping the Crimson earn the No. 4 seed in the ECAC Hockey Championship.
Harvard’s season will continue tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m. when they take on Clarkson in the ECAC Hockey semifinal.
