Yale Drops Regular-Season Finale to Quinnipiac

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Senior Sam Tucker stopped 36 of 40 shots but it wasn't enough to get the Bulldogs a win against No. 5 Quinnipiac, which used a three-goal second period to grab a 4-1 win before a sold-out Ingalls Rink.

The Elis got a goal from senior Ted Hart after four straight Bobcats tallies on the final night of the regular season. Yale finished with a 13-13-3 overall record, 11-10-1 in conference, but has a chance to play more hockey.

The Elis will host a first-round, best-of-three ECAC Hockey Playoff series against RPI next weekend. Friday and Saturday puck drops are 7 p.m. with a 4 p.m. start on Sunday if necessary. All games air live on ESPN+.
