Princeton Takes Down No. 3 Clarkson

Freshman defender Reid Yochim scored the game-winning goal on the power-play at 14:33 of the third period to life the Princeton men's hockey team to a 4-3 win over No. 3 Clarkson on Friday night before a standing-room only crowd at Hobey Baker Rink. The Golden Knights had a 3-2 lead after two periods before senior David Hallisey knotted the game at 3-3 at 12:57.

This is Princeton's first win over a top-five team since Jan. 28, 2017 when the Tigers defeated No. 4 Penn State 5-4 in overtime at the Wells Fargo Center.

Princeton earns four points on the weekend, following a 5-4 overtime win over St. Lawrence yesterday and has won its last four games. Six games remain in the regular season with the Tigers currently in a tie for sixth place in the standings.
