League Issues Suspension

ALBANY, N.Y. -- ECAC Hockey today announced that Quinnipiac senior defenseman Connor Clifton has been assessed a one-game suspension, in accordance with the League’s supplemental discipline process, as the result of his actions in the Quinnipiac vs. Vermont contest Saturday, November 26.

The League action was taken after review of an incident that occurred at the 13:26 mark of the first period in the Bobcats-Catamounts contest where Mr. Clifton was assessed a major penalty for contact to the head and a game misconduct penalty.

Based upon the League’s action, Mr. Clifton is not eligible to compete in Bobcats’ next contest - Friday, December 2 - when Quinnipiac hosts Rensselaer.
