2012 Championship
ALBANY, N.Y. -- The 2012 ECAC Women's Hockey Championship
featured an eight-team tournament field comprising the top eight
seeds based upon the final regular-season standings.
The eight teams, in order of seed, were Cornell, Harvard,
Clarkson, Dartmouth, St. Lawrence, Quinnipiac, Princeton and Brown.
The 28th annual championship commenced with quarterfinals
competition Friday, February 24 at on-campus facilities. The
quarterfinals winners advanced to the championship semifinals
conducted Friday, March 2.
The 2012 championship continued to follow the format adapted for
the 2010 championship such that the semifinals and championship
game were conducted on the campuses of the highest remaining
seeds.
