Yale (4-9-2, 2-7-1 ECAC Hockey) is looking to build some more
momentum as it gets ready for the home stretch of conference play.
The Bulldogs have bounced back from a 1-7-1 start to go 3-2-1 in
their last six games. They have 19 goals in that six-game span, a
dramatic improvement over the first nine games (eight goals).
Sophomore forward Aleca Hughes (Westwood, Mass.) and junior forward
Bray Ketchum (Greenwich, Conn.) are tied for the team lead with six
goals each. Senior forward Caroline Murphy (Woodstock, Conn.) is
next with five.
The Bulldogs have gotten strong performances from both goaltenders
during their hot streak. Junior Jackee Snikeris (Downingtown, Pa)
has 103 saves in her last three games, a .963 save percentage and a
1.30 goals-against average. Sophomore Genny Ladiges (Almonte, Ont.)
is coming off a win over Vermont Saturday in which she stopped 19
of 20 shots, holding the Catamounts scoreless over the final 52:28
as the Bulldogs rallied for a 3-1 win.
