NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The women's hockey version of the Yale-Harvard rivalry gets renewed Friday night at Ingalls Rink (7 p.m.), and the Bulldogs host another rival on Saturday night when Dartmouth comes to the Whale. Both opponents are among the teams receiving votes in the national polls. Fans in town to attend The Game get in for free to the Yale-Dartmouth game Saturday at 6 p.m. with their football ticket stubs. Video of both games is available live and on demand through Yale All-Access.

Yale (1-5-1, 1-5-0 ECAC Hockey) is coming off its first win of the season, as a pair of goal from senior forward Caroline Murphy (Woodstock, Conn.) beat Union 2-1. Murphy had a three-point weekend, and her freshman linemate Danielle Moncion (Round Lake Center, Ont.) had her first collegiate goal and her first collegiate assist. Those two and the third member of the line, sophomore Becky Mantell (Princeton, N.J.), combined for a +8 rating in the two games. Murphy is now tied for the team lead in goals and points (2-1-3) with junior forward Bray Ketchum (Greenwich, Conn.).

Sophomore goalie Genny Ladiges (Almonte, Ont.) picked up the win in her first start of the season by making 15 saves Saturday. Junior Jackee Snikeris (Downingtown, Pa.) had started the first six games, posting a .905 save percentage and a 2.81 goals-against average.
