REGINA -- Mandi Schwartz's No. 17 will be conspicuous this weekend when the Yale Bulldogs women's hockey team hits the ice for a home doubleheader.
But Schwartz herself will be back in Saskatchewan, at the Pasqua
Hospital’s Allan Blair Cancer Centre.
The 20-year-old forward, who was diagnosed with leukemia in
December, is undergoing her second of four rounds of chemotherapy
in preparation for a bone-marrow transplant.
