It’s a shame more Yalies weren’t at the Whale last
week.
While the majority of campus went home for Thanksgiving, the Yale
women’s hockey team was hard at work knocking off No. 4
Boston University. The Elis controlled play en route to a 4-1 win
over the Terriers, who entered the game riding a 10-game winning
streak.
The Bulldogs were able to convert on two power-play opportunities,
with forwards Aleca Hughes, BK ’12, and Danielle Kozlowski,
PC ’09, each scoring while the Elis were a man up. Forwards
Kristen Stupay, CC ’09, and Crysti Howser, SM ’09, also
added goals, while goaltender Jackee Snikeris, BR ’11, saved
18 shots.
