Yale senior defenseman and Greenwich Country Day School alum Helen
Resor has been selected to be part of a group of 58 of the
nation’s top women’s ice hockey players that will
convene in Blaine, Minn., for USA Hockey’s annual
Women’s Holiday Camp from Dec. 26 to Dec. 31.
“It’s a great honor and excited to be back in the
program,” Resor said. “I am kind of nervous about
getting back to camp. I have been working hard getting back in
hockey shape. I have been training pretty hard so I am looking
forward to it.”
Resor has the most international experience of any Bulldog, having
become the first Yale player to make an Olympic team roster when
she was named to Team USA for the 2006 Torino games. Resor and Team
USA earned a bronze medal. She has also participated in two IIHF
World Championships, earning a gold medal in 2005 and a silver
medal in 2007 and has been a part of three silver-medal efforts at
the Four Nations Cup.
