Dutchwomen Raise Funds for Cancer Research
ALBANY, N.Y. – Coming off two straight wins in its home
opener last weekend, the Union College women’s ice hockey
team participated The American Cancer Society 2009 Making Strides
of Albany at the Washington Park Parade Grounds on Sunday.
The walk helped increase funding and awareness for breast cancer
research.
It is the first time the team walked the event. It is the third
consecutive year the Dutchwomen supports breast cancer research.
