SCHENECTADY, NY -- The Union College women’s ice hockey team (2-16-2, 0-8-0) last played a home game on Nov. 16 (a 2-1 loss against RPI). Almost two month later, the Dutchwomen return to Messa Rink for a pair of ECAC Hockey games. Quinnipiac (3-18-2, 2-7-2) comes to Schenectady on Friday, Jan. 9 at 7 p.m. and Princeton (9-8-1, 6-5-0) arrives on Saturday, Jan. 10 at 4 p.m.

Earlier this season, the Dutchwomen, who only have ECAC Hockey games remaining, experienced a 6-0 setback at Princeton on Dec. 5 and a 4-1 defeat at Quinnipiac on Dec. 6.

Senior goaltender Lundy Day will likely become the owner of the school record for most career saves within the next couple of weeks. Since joining the team at the beginning of the 2007-08 season, Day has produced 1769 saves, only 127 saves away from the top spot.
