Team Notes: Dutchwomen Conclude Road Trip in Vermont

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- The Union College women’s ice hockey continues its three-game road trip by finishing the final two at Vermont this weekend, starting on Friday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m. Game two will be the next day at 4 p.m.

Despite the loss, Union made a strong performance off the gate starting with freshman forward Emma Rambo. With a little help from senior forward Marissa Gentile and freshman forward Rhianna Kurio, Rambo scored Union’s first goal of the season 2:15 into the third period.

Rambo’s performance was good enough to have her selected ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Week.
