Team Notes: Dutchwomen Ready to Battle Warriors

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- Junior defender Jackie Koetteritz and the Union College women's ice hockey team (0-4-0) welcomes Wayne State (1-1-0) to Messa Rink for a weekend series beginning on Friday at 7 p.m. Game two follows on Saturday at 2 p.m. The pair of contest is apart of the 2008 Union College Homecoming. Both games can be followed via live stats, while Friday's outing can also be watched online.  

Koetteritz is currently on a two-game scoring streak and is tied with sophomore forward Marissa Gentile for the team lead with three points. The junior Breckenridge, CO native has appeared in 61 career games and has totaled 13 points.  

Freshman forward Émilie Arseneault was selected as the ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Week after scoring her first career goal in Union's 3-1 loss against Vermont on Oct, 11. She had three of Union's best chances in the third period - all on similar plays where she streaked down the right side with the puck and got shots on goal. She used her backhand for the goal after fighting through a Vermont defender.
