Duggan's Stay Almost Over, but Work Remains to be Done

CANTON — When Carson Duggan joined the St. Lawrence University women's hockey team four years ago she had a modest goal: earn a spot on the fourth forward line.

Instead of starting from the bottom and gradually working her way up, Duggan became an impact player almost immediately for the Saints.

Now, heading into what could be her final games at Appleton Arena in her career, Duggan is on the verge of becoming the first SLU women's player to score 100 career goals, and she's two shy of the overall SLU hockey mark of 101, which is held by men's player Brian MacFarlane.
