CANTON — When Carson Duggan joined the St. Lawrence
University women's hockey team four years ago she had a modest
goal: earn a spot on the fourth forward line.
Instead of starting from the bottom and gradually working her way
up, Duggan became an impact player almost immediately for the
Saints.
Now, heading into what could be her final games at Appleton Arena
in her career, Duggan is on the verge of becoming the first SLU
women's player to score 100 career goals, and she's two shy of the
overall SLU hockey mark of 101, which is held by men's player Brian
MacFarlane.
