TROY -- Reaching the ECAC Hockey championship game last season
"was a big boost" for the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute women's
hockey program says head coach John Burke.
Beating heavily-favored Harvard in the league semifinal, Burke
says, "was more beneficial for the program," than for the 2009-10
team.
On the other hand, placing second in women's college hockey's
deepest league will lift the current team's confidence.
