Engineers Add Depth, will Vie for Playoffs

TROY — A three-game losing streak to conclude last season
cost the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute women’s hockey team
a second consecutive ECAC Hockey playoff berth in its second year
in the league.
But even before last year began, RPI coach John Burke knew that
making the playoffs was going to be tough. His Engineers lacked
depth.
That issue has been resolved.
