First Time
In just her fourth game of the season, Fritz-Ward found the back of the net for her first-career goal on Saturday, Jan. 14 against Colgate. Following a saved shot, the freshman dove and swiped her stick towards the puck, connecting for the miraculous goal.

Laden, who has now started in four games, holds a 2.27 goals against average, .929 save percentage, and a 3-1 overall personal record.

This marked the fastest goal to start a period for Quinnipiac since Amanda Colin (Burnsville, Minn.) netted a goal 35 seconds into overtime during the team's 2-1 victory against No. 4 Boston College on November, 22, 2011. Despite the loss, Quinnipiac held Cornell to just 21 shots, at the time, its lowest shot total of the season.
