All-Time Against The Orange

the two sides have faced each other, as Quinnipiac owns the
all-time series lead, 3-1. In their last meeting on January, 16,
2010, the Bobcats defeated the Orange, 2-1. Janine Duffy netted one
goal and assisted on the second score, as the Bobcats earned the
weekend sweep against the Orange for the first time in series
history. Freshman goaltender Victoria
Vigilanti (Woodbridge, Ontario) made 24 saves in net for
Quinnipiac.
Last Time Out
Quinnipiac came away with a convincing 4-1 victory over
Colgate on Saturday, Jan. 14. The Bobcats struck early and often,
tallying three goals in the first period of play. Junior defender
Regan
Boulton (Brandon, Manitoba) notched her first multi-goal
outing of the season, while sophomore forward Erica
Uden Johansson (Sundsvall, Sweden) and freshman forward
Morgan
Fritz-Ward (Mason City, Iowa) also scored for the
Bobcats. Freshman goaltender Chelsea
Laden (Lakeville, Minn.) stopped 32 shots in goal for
Quinnipiac.
First Time
In just her fourth game of the season, Fritz-Ward found
the back of the net for her first-career goal on Saturday, Jan. 14
against Colgate. Following a saved shot, the freshman dove and
swiped her stick towards the puck, connecting for the miraculous
goal.
Freshman Force
Freshman goaltender Chelsea Laden turned in another
fantastic game in goal for Quinnipiac, matching her career-high
with 32 saves on Saturday, Jan. 14 against Colgate. Laden, who has
now started in four games, holds a 2.27 goals against average, .929
save percentage, and a 3-1 overall personal
record.
Quick Strike
Senior assistant captain Kate
Wheeler's (Oakville, Ontario) goal just 21 seconds into
the game on Friday, Jan. 13 against No. 3/3 Cornell gave Quinnipiac
the early 1-0 lead. This marked the fastest goal to start a period
for Quinnipiac since Amanda
Colin (Burnsville, Minn.) netted a goal 35 seconds into
overtime during the team's 2-1 victory against No. 4 Boston College
on November, 22, 2011. Despite the loss, Quinnipiac held Cornell to
just 21 shots, at the time, its lowest shot total of the
season.
On Fire
With the two goals against Colgate on Saturday, Jan. 14,
Regan Boulton propelled herself into third place among the squad in
total points (12). Her plus-14 currently ranks first on the team
and fifth overall among ECAC Hockey defenders
(12th overall in the league
among all skaters).

games) with an assist in both weekend games against No. 3/3 Cornell
and Colgate. She now ranks fifth among all ECAC Hockey skaters with

assists (16). Babstock is tied for fourth with three game-winning
goals in league play.

successful games since returning from injury, adding at least one
point in four of the team's last five games. With 32 career points
(15 goals, 17 assists), Uden Johansson ranks behind only Babstock
among all sophomore skaters on the squad in career goals, assists
