Game-Winner
Making the most out of her opportunity with a spot on
Quinnipiac's first-line on Saturday, Nov. 12 against St. Lawrence,
Megan Hagg's first-career goal also doubled as the game-winning
score for the team. Hagg found a hole in the Saints defense and
received a pass from Babstock, where she then wristed in the
goal.
Strong Start
Through six games in ECAC Hockey action, the Bobcats have
scored the second most goals (15), trailing only Cornell's 33 goals
in league play. Quinnipiac currently leads all ECAC Hockey teams
with nine points in league play.
Rule Abiders
The Bobcats hold the lowest penalty minutes per game
(6.7) among all Division I Women's Ice Hockey
programs.
Protect The Net
Quinnipiac is currently tied for second among ECAC Hockey
teams with a 1.33 goals against average in league play. The Bobcats
especially clamp down defensively during man-down opportunities, as
its penalty kill unit has an even 90.0 percent (18-for20) success
rate.
