Bobcats Make Push for Tournament Spot

The Quinnipiac women’s hockey team is off to the best start
in program history and for the last two weeks has received votes in
the U.S. College Hockey Online poll for the first time.
Currently on a six-game winning streak, which includes victories
over then-No. 5 Harvard on Jan. 9 and a weekend sweep of then-No.
10 Syracuse on Jan. 15-16, the Bobcats have a 13-7-6 record.
In addition to the USCHO.com poll, the Bobcats, one of two teams
listed as also receiving votes, also earned a spot on the Pairwise
Ranking poll, where they were ranked 11th. The USCHO.com Pairwise
Ranking attempt to mimic the method used by the NCAA selection
committee to determine participants for the NCAA tournament.
