Team Notes: Bobcats Return Home, Host North Country Tandem

After two consecutive weekends on the road, the Quinnipiac
University women's ice hockey team returns to the TD Bank Sports
Center to host St. Lawrence and No. 4-ranked Clarkson this weekend.
The Bobcats will take on the Saints on Friday at 7 p.m., and will
face off against the Golden Knights on Saturday at 4 p.m. In their
last outing, Quinnipiac defeated Colgate, 2-1, on Feb. 6.
Scouting the Saints
St. Lawrence has compiled a 14-9-7 overall record so far this
season, and posts a 10-5-3 record in ECAC Hockey. The Saints are
currently in fourth place in the league standings with 23 points,
just one point ahead of the Bobcats. St. Lawrence is on a
three-game winning streak, earning victories in its past three home
games against RPI, Union and Clarkson. Sophomore forward Vanessa
Emond currently leads the team offensively with 14 goals and 16
assists for 30 points this season. Senior goaltender Brittony
Chartier has seen the most action in net for the Saints this
season, posting a .914 save percentage and a 2.14 goals-against
average.
Scouting the Golden Knights
No. 4-ranked Clarkson currently posts a 20-7-3 overall record with
a 14-3-1 record in the ECAC, good for 29 points and the top ranking
in the league. The Golden Knights dropped from ranking third to
fourth in the national rankings after they split a weekend against
RPI and Union last weekend. Senior forward Dominique Thibault leads
the team with 17 goals and 16 assists for a total of 33 points.
Junior goaltender Lauren Dahm has played in all but one game for
Clarkson this season, and posts a .939 save percentage and a 1.47
goals-against average.
