Team Notes: Quinnipiac Battles Hockey East Foes

The Quinnipiac University women's ice hockey team will head to
Boston this weekend to take on Hockey East opponents Boston College
and Northeastern. The Bobcats will face the Eagles Friday, Oct. 16
at 7 p.m. at the Conte Forum, and will take on the Huskies
Saturday, Oct. 17 at 2 p.m. at Matthews Arena. Quinnipiac most
recently lost to the University of New Hampshire, 4-0, on Oct.

Scouting the Eagles
Boston College has recorded a 1-2-2 record overall this season,
with a 0-1-0 mark in Hockey East. In their last outing, the Eagles
fell, 3-2, to Northeastern on Oct. 13 at home. Three players on
Boston College have accumulated the team-leading four points this
season. Senior forward Ally Thurstrom has scored four goals, while
sophomore forwards Mary Restuccia and Alison Szlosek have each
tallied one goal and three assists. Freshman goaltender Corinne
Boyles has seen action in all five games this season for the
Eagles, compiling a .932 save percentage.
Scouting the Huskies
Northeastern has notched a 3-0-1 overall record so far this
season, with a 1-0-1 tally in conference play, most recently
defeating Boston College, 3-2. Senior forward Lindsey Berman
currently leads the Huskies with six points (3 goals, 3 assists).
Sophomore goaltender Florence Schelling has started all four games
for Northeastern, earning a .963 save percentage.
