Team Notes: Quinnipiac Faces Princeton

The Quinnipiac University women’s ice hockey team travels to
Princeton, N.J., to take on conference foe Princeton. The Bobcats
and the Tigers face off Tuesday night at 7 p.m. In its last game,
Quinnipiac fell to Wayne State, 3-2, in the Consolation Game of the
Nutmeg Classic.
Scouting the Tigers
Princeton is 4-6-1 overall this season and 2-4-0 in ECAC Hockey.
In their most recent game on Nov. 28, the Tigers tied Boston
College, 3-3. Sophomore defender Sasha Sherry leads Princeton with
five goals and eight assists. Senior goaltender Kristen Young has
started all 11 games in goal for the Tigers, posting a .905 save
percentage.
A Score For Flor
Forward Kallie Flor (Farmington, Minn.) scored her second goal of
the season in the game against Wayne State. The junior opened up
the scoring for the Bobcats in the first period to tie the score at
1-1. After a flurry of Bobcat shots on the Wayne State goaltender,
Flor was able to poke the puck through for the tying goal.
