Romanchuk Selected Play at U.S. National Festival
PRINCETON -- Rising Princeton junior captain Paula Romanchuk has been named to the roster for the 2010 USA Hockey Women's National Festival, held in mid-August in Lake Placid, N.Y.
Romanchuk was named to 22-player festival squad. The weeklong event will also include the U.S. Women's Under-22 Select and Under-18 Select Teams, and will feature on and off ice training, along with round-robin games. Romanchuk's Princeton teammate Sasha Sherry was named to the Under-22 Team last week.
The San Jose native was Princeton's second-leading scorer last season with 26 points in 31 games on nine goals and 17 assists. She was the team's Elizabeth English Trophy winner as Most Valuable Player and was a third-team All-ECAC and honorable mention All-Ivy selection.
