Team Notes: Princeton Hosts Rensselaer in Quarterfinals Action

The ninth-ranked Princeton women’s hockey team beings its
quest for an ECAC tournament championship this weekend when it
hosts a best-of-three quarterfinals series with Rensselaer. The
games are scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday night and 4 p.m. on
Saturday and Sunday. Admission to all three games is free of
charge.
The entire ECAC Hockey postseason will be video streamed through
B2 Networks. Tournament coverage begins Friday, February 27 with
live broadcasts of all four women’s quarterfinals games and
continues throughout the championship weekend. Individual
tournament games can be purchased for $8 with Championship Round

Princeton gained ground in the ECAC standings over the final weeks
of the season, climbing to third in the standings from sixth, where
it sat three weeks ago, for its highest finish since the 2005-06
season when the Tigers were second. Princeton has now finished
third in the standings on three occasions with the previous two
coming in the 1994-95 and 2002-03 seasons.
