Sherry Earns Second-Team All-America Honors
The American Hockey Coaches Association named Princeton
defenseman Sasha Sherry an RBK Hockey Second-Team All-America.
Sherry becomes the first Princetonian to ever garner All-America
honors in women's hockey.
Sherry was a first-team All-ECAC and second-team All-Ivy selection
as a sophomore. She led Princeton in scoring for much of the season
and completed the season tied for the team with 22 points. That
followed up a 21-point freshman campaign. Sherry scored eight goals
and added 14 assists.
Sherry finishing third on the Tigers in conference scoring and
ranked second among all ECAC defenders in league points.
Sherry was one of three ECAC players recognized by the AHCA.
Harvard's Sarah Vaillancourt was a first-team choice while Sherry
and Cornell's Rebecca Johnston were second-team selections.
