Team Notes: Princeton Hosts Cornell and Colgate at Baker Rink

PRINCETON - The 10th-ranked Princeton women's hockey team
returns to home ice this weekend after two weekends on the road to
host seventh-ranked Cornell and Colgate at Hobey Baker Rink.
Princeton enters the weekend off a weekend split at Dartmouth and
Harvard last weekend. Princeton dropped the opening game at
Dartmouth 4-1, but salvaged a split with a 2-1 overtime win at
Harvard on Saturday afternoon.
On Friday, the Tigers fell behind 2-0 in the first period and
couldn't dig out the hole in the 4-1 loss. Junior Laura Martindale
scored her second goal of the season on the power play to cut the
Dartmouth lead to a goal early in the second period, but Dartmouth
added a goal late in the third and an empty netter to seal the 4-1
win.
