Braintree, Mass., native Lizzie Keady won the 2008 Sarah Devens Award for demonstrating leadership and commitment on and off the ice.
The Devens Award is a joint award given annually between the
ECAC and Hockey East.
"I was really surprised to even be nominated for the award, let
alone win it," Keady told hockeyjournal.com. "It is obviously a
great honor."
