Inconsistencies have cost the Princeton University women’s
ice hockey team a better record, but Saturday they showed the
heights of their potential.
The Tigers put everything together to knock off defending national
champion Minnesota-Duluth, 4-3.
”It shows we have promise,” said PU head coach Jeff
Kampersal. “We have a really good goaltender, a good defense
and have good young promising forwards. We’re going in the
right direction and we’ll see who plays best with who.
We’re still trying to find that out and trying to maximize
every player’s potential and put them in positions where they
can be successful.”
