Gedman's Performance Warrants Accolades
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Marissa Gedman has been named the Harvard COOP Athlete of the Week for October 31.
Gedman tallied a goal and two assists in the season-opening win over St. Lawrence and scored the game-winner in overtime against Clarkson. The game-winning tally came just 1:32 into overtime as the Framingham, Mass., native took a pass from Michelle Picard and moved to just outside the right faceoff circle where she slapped a shot past the Clarkson goaltender.
She also contributed to a defensive effort that allowed two goals in the season’s first two contest.
Gedman finished the weekend with a team-leading five points and a +4 rating.
