There will be no campaign speeches, catchy slogans or lofty
promises. As far as Angela Ruggiero is concerned, her Olympic
actions speak louder than any words.
But that doesn’t mean the four-time Olympian won’t
press the flesh around the Olympic Village in her quest to fill one
of two open positions on the International Olympic
Committee’s Athletes’ Commission.
“You can’t really campaign much, but I’m going
to get out there and try to talk to as many athletes as possible in
all sports and all countries,” said the all-time leader in
games played for Team USA.
