Ryabkina's Performance Warrants Accolades

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Forward Liza Ryabkina scored three goals in the first two games on the season for Harvard and has garnered Harvard COOP Athlete of the Week honors for Nov. 1.

In the season-opening rivalry game against Yale, Ryabkina scored the Crimson’s second and third goals, both knotting the score. The game-tying-goal came with 14 seconds left in the third period on a blue line to blue line pass from Leanna Coskren where Ryabkina took it to the left point and fired in the equalizer.

Midway through the second period Saturday, in Harvard's 4-2 win over Brown, Ryabkina one-timed a pass from Kaitlin Spurling to give the Crimson a 2-0 lead over the Bears. On the weekend, Ryabkina registered a +1 rating.
