The following article appeared February 18 on the Harvard Web site.
The ninth-ranked Crimson women’s hockey team skates into
the final weekend of the regular season on a hot streak, as the
team has won eight ECAC Hockey games in a row. Harvard sits one
point behind No. 7 St. Lawrence, Friday’s opponent, in the
conference standings with two games to play.
The Crimson has already clinched home ice for a ECAC Hockey
quarterfinal series against a to-be-determined opponent, scheduled
for Feb. 27-March 1.
Series History
Tuesday’s game will be the 42nd meeting between Harvard and
St. Lawrence. The Crimson holds a 25-11-5 advantage, but lost a
game earlier this year, 3-1, in Canton, N.Y., back on Nov. 15.
