Team Notes: Harvard Makes Weekend Trip to Brown, Yale

Harvard women’s hockey hits the road to visit ECAC Hockey
rivals Brown and Yale. The Crimson sits in second place in the ECAC
Hockey standings with a 6-4-2 mark and 14 points.
After this weekend’s action, Harvard will have 20 days off
for the exam break before returning to the ice with a pair of road
games at Union and Rensselaer Jan. 30-31.
Series History
Friday’s contest will be the 68th meeting between Harvard
and Brown in a series that dates to the 1978-79 season. After
winning the last five games between the schools, the Crimson holds
a 32-30-5 lead all-time against the Bears. In the last encounter,
Harvard had four different goal scorers in a 4-1 victory at Brown
Feb. 1, 2008. Kathryn Farni, Liza Ryabkina, Randi Griffin and Kati
Vaughn all lit the lamp, and Christina Kessler made 25 saves for
the win.
